For over 3 years Charles and Cecilia Wall fought State Farm for insurance proceeds that rightfully belonged to them. And Davis Law Group was happy to join their fight and to win.
In Wall v. State Farm Lloyds, State Farm wrongfully denied the Wall’s hailstorm claim stemming from a hailstorm in Tomball, Texas in 2013. Days after the hailstorm, State Farm inspected the Wall home and denied the claim. Thankfully, the Wall’s found Davis Law Group.
After becoming involved with the case, our attorneys and experts went to work investigating the Wall home and found tens of thousands of dollars in damages. State Farm was avoiding its responsibility to investigate and pay the Wall claim fairly. And we were going to hold them accountable.
Prior to trial, State Farm made an offer to settle the Wall’s lawsuit in August 2014 for $12,000.00. The Walls countered that $12,000.00 would do nothing to compensate them due to all the expenses they had incurred to try and prove their claim.
The Walls held State Farm accountable on May 19, 2016 and obtained a jury verdict of more than $114,000.00 for State Farm’s violation of the Texas Insurance Code. In response to the verdict and the Davis Law Group’s representation, Mr. Wall expressed his heartfelt thanks: “Thank you and Katie so very much for what you did for us. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to tell you and thank you enough times.”
