Katie Ray began her law career by graduating magna cum laude with honors from the University of South Carolina. She then earned her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and became licensed to practice in Texas. At the Law Center, Katie served on the Board of Advocates as part of the Law Center’s moot court program.
As an associate attorney with Davis Law Group, Katie is involved in every aspect of her clients’ cases. From preparing petitions and motions, to participating in depositions and settlement negotiations, to trying all aspects of jury trials, Katie is committed to seeking justice by any means necessary. In her free time, Katie enjoys taking her two Boxers on walks, trying new restaurants with her husband, and traveling with family and friends.

Work Experience & Achievements
Katie has successfully litigated numerous matters involving contractual disputes, insurance coverage and bad faith claims, and personal injury negligence cases. Recently, Katie received a substantial jury verdict for her client in a contested car wreck case. The judgment was more than 250% higher than what the at-fault driver’s insurance company was offering.
In May 2016, Katie assisted in a week-long trial against State Farm. State Farm wrongfully denied a client’s hail storm claim. After presenting compelling evidence and testimony, the jury returned a verdict for more than $114,000.00. State Farm’s highest pre-trial was $12,000.00.
